The mediatized society we currently live in is focused mainly on graphic reception. Images, films and multimedia presentations stimulate our imagination much better. This includes most industries on the market, including business cards, which are becoming more and more creative and unusual to be remembered by a potential customer.
Eye-catching
The main task of a business card is to be remembered and bring another customer to the company. Although those with only text are still produced and work well, they increasingly contain photos, interesting fonts and graphics. This is a method that allows you to stay in memory and draw attention to the company’s offer – the popularity of image-based content on the Internet seems to support this thesis. However, let us continue to look for other, more unusual and unconventional solutions that will gain recognition. This is where the next increasingly strange innovations come from.
A multitude of materials
In the business card industry, almost every raw material available on our planet has been used to create them. It started with paper, but soon it was no longer enough and now we can see business cards made of metal, wood or rubber. There is also a well-known example of using fabrics as business cards – there are basically no restrictions. However, although classic paper business cards are still the most popular, they are also changing according to demand, and their role is taken over even by objects that we deal with every day.
Or maybe a clothespin?
The fact that any item can be used as a business card is proven by the use of a clothes peg in this role. In this case, we go beyond the standards of a rectangular box or even a metal plate and use everyday objects. A playing card, a comb – each of these items can be used as a business card, provided that it is neatly combined with the industry it represents. A clothespin advertising a laundry? Barber’s comb? Simple solutions are usually the best, and business cards in such unusual forms top all rankings of the most creative business cards. Let’s remember that although each of these ideas is good and both the paper boxes and the comb serve as our business cards, not all of them will fit into your wallet.
We will provide further interesting examples of business cards in subsequent entries.
